Well, after my long recent post about girl renderings, here I submit one.... with a gun.... But there *is* a story to it, and it has a purpose. This is the point where the main antagonist (or potential protagonist) prepares to open fire on the invading army's convoy. I should have placed her horse in the background somewhere, but it would have been rather difficult to have rendered it lying down in the frame. Micron pens, PS CS, and a bit of story to boot.

Great work! I really like how brown everything is, her hands are very well done, the coloring job is ace and I love the details on her necklace and shells. Everything looks good. Her hat is pretty cool lookin' too. :D

Well, she doesn't look like a sexy-bomb-with-no-brain, so I don't think it's inconsistent with the point of view you refer to in your last journal post. ;)

Indeed, this woman looks very interesting, and not from a "sexual" point of view... Her eyes are intelligent and belligerent. The perspective, the whole scene..., magnificent.

her face is probably the best female face I've seen by you so far. especially the eyes, very well done. she looks deep in thougth and hard set on her goal.
the hands look a bit rough tho, bit around the knuckles, and their contour.
I'm trying to identify that rifle... looks Russian.
love that shadowy hat / hood. love the decorative wooden stuff on her chest (from hair?)

Those eyes are incredible my friend. Even when I looked at it before the full view, my eyes were automatically drawn to them. Very nice.

I'd say this one is my favorite of the three. Lots of attention to detail. I wish I had something constructive to say about this piece but you always make it difficult.. Can you post the linework without the color? My girlfriend and I would love to see just the linework.
